DataRescueNHV - April 8th Event FAQ

This is my first DataRescue event! Help!!

Welcome! We’re so glad you’re joining us. Feel free to arrive early on April 8th; beginning at noon, our team will provide training on the workflow and associated tasks. We’ll also be on hand throughout the event to direct traffic and help you figure out where to go and what to do. 

What should I bring?

Please bring a laptop. If your laptop doesn’t have an ethernet port, please brining your own ethernet adapter, if you have one. We’ll provide cables and external hard drives. We’ll also provide beverages and snacks! 

Directions and parking

#DataRescueNHV on April 8 will be held in the computer classroom at the Center for Science and Social Science Information. The CSSSI is located on the concourse (lower) level of Kline Biology Tower, 219 Prospect Street.

There is metered parking on Prospect St. Visitor parking is available in Lot 37, on Trumbull Ave. between Temple St. and Hillhouse Ave. The entrance is on Trumbull St.
